Spicer Studios offers high quality lessons for piano, voice, strings, flute, guitar and
ukelele from musicians most of whom have a bachelor degree or are completing one in
their area of expertise.
General: All lessons at Spicer Studios are conducted individually, to maximize the
benefits of a one-on-one student/teacher relationship.* A half hour lesson
each week is typical, though longer lessons can be arranged.
*('MusikGarten' lessons for preschool children are conducted in group format.)
Availability: Lessons are available from 8am - 9 pm every weekday, or by special
arrangement. Summer lessons run from 8 am - 9 pm.
Age Groups: Age 7 through adult is the norm, though we have successfully taught
children as young as 2 1/2. Exceptions will be made based on aptitude and
maturity level.
No registration Fees: Tuition is for instruction only. We have no additional fees.
Free Lesson/Interview: We offer 1/2 hour lessons or interviews for new families
depending on the time/availability of the instructor.
Tuition: Lessons are provided by monthly tuition, which varies from $65/month -
$90/month, depending on the instructor. Payment is due in advance, and
reserves your day/time. Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of our
auto-withdrawal payment option.* There is no extra charge for this service,
though payment by check is still accepted.
Summer: For continuity and progress, students are encouraged to continue lessons
through the summer months.
